Buddy Wins Draw Partner on His Own!
There were 23 players signed up for the Invitational Blind Draw Tournament at Papa’s Pub & Grub in Warren, Michigan, on March 2, so there was one player left over after the draw, Buddy Broka of Bourbon, Indiana. Buddy had the option of paying for a partner he didn’t have and walking both ends. He took that option and won the tournament.
Taking second place honors were Cheryl Collins of Davisburg, Mich. and Terry Broka (Buddy’s brother), Toledo, Ohio, with John Tischler and Rick Boyer of Detroit in third place.
