Jim Manders HOF Induction on the 26th of June was done in great form, as several of his personal, business and shuffleboard amigos said wonderful things about accomplishments in his life and his in put to the world of shuffleboard. I myself new Jim well and will agree with most people that there is going to be a big gap missing in the world of shuffleboard news. As for turn out, I counted about 80 people. We have 4000 sq. ft. with five boards, so you can imagine what it was like.
We drew up peas, shortly after and were able to have two rounds, ending about 1:00 am. The first had 44 players, with Clark Kenny and Tom Campbell winning. The second round had 20 players with Bill Walker and John Rostellin winning. Our R. V. parking area was pretty full. The local motel and hotel had people there also. I’m sure a great time was had by all.
