A very determined bunch of shuffleboard players converged on the Whistling Oyster Grand Masters Plus, to try and determine who is the best. After getting thru the who’s who of Shuffleboard World of the Northwest, Clark Kenney and Carl Roush took 1st place, (1st time honors). In a very close were Darrol Nelson and Claire Kenney. All games were very entertaining, while Carl Roush lagged out on a 19-20 point game with a pretty duece.
The Friday night draw drew a strong field of competitors, with 1st and 2nd splitting to take 60-40 %, that seems the way its been going with these events lately. The split was between Ken Simmons & Alvin Orcutt and Frank Mako & Claire Kenney. All players were from Washington. With Darrol from Oregon. Everyone had a great time. The ribs and other stuff on Saturday were excellent. The pit was almost full by Thursday night. Thanks to everybody that came. We hope to see you all next year. All the rest is history.
Sincerely, Bill & Sandee
