This year the 2012 Canadian Open was cancelled because of a venue problem but Dee Hudson of The Red Dog Tavern in Port Orchard, Wa. offered to host it @ her Tavern. So we moved the Tournament to The Red Dog. A special Thanks goes to Dee Hudson, Mike Waters, Bill Walker & all the Ladies, Chico & all the Players for making this years Tournament a huge success. Mike & Bill did an awesome job running the Tournament, Dee with her hospitality & support, the Ladies & Chico for all the Food & BBQ.
I would like to add that Shuffleboard is growing in the Port Orchard area especially @ The Red Dog & Blue Goose Taverns with a number of new Players taking part in the ABC’s it is a lot of fun playing with these Players who are asking a lot of questions & getting quality answers. The Game is growing big time here in BC with old Clubs returning to our Thurs. & Sat Longboard Leagues & a ton of new Players.
