Eagles Lodge #3934 hosted yet another great tournament held May 14-15, 2010. Even the rain didn’t dampen the shufflers from attending from as far away as Indiana and Oklahoma. With 4 shuffleboards tables, 9 teams in division 1 and 8 teams in division 2, the bring partner event started Friday and ended Saturday. With $400 added prize money donated from the Erie, everyone was playing in earnest for the added incentive.
Afer the regular tournament a challenge was set for the winner of Div 1 and Div 2 to play off match. Div 2 was given their true handicap of 3 points. After much debate over the board neither team had played on, the Div 2 team emerged the winners! Congrats to Matt & Berry!
Thanks to Eagles #3934 Erie and the ladies auxiliary for their part in making this tournament a success. We appreciate all who attended, contributed and worked to make this a fun weekend of shuffleboard.
