A quick note about the tournament results for the November 7th and 8th Halloween Blast, at Doc’s . This is always a fun event, and this year instead of the traditional ABC, we held an ABC warm up on Thursday, followed by a two division bring partner doubles event, on Friday and Saturday.
We had a great turn out for the tournament with some really good support from our Oklahoma neighbors. The weather was good for early November and everyone seemed to have a good time.
Division A which was open was won by an Oklahoma team out of Tulsa, Jim French and Robert “Cowboy” Wade. Second place went to Bob Duer from Kansas City and Jerry Romay of St. Louis. Third place was won by Barb Head, Houston, Mo. and Craig “Doc” Bendickson of Stockton.
Division B, which broke at 2.70 and higher, was won by a Springfield, Mo. team Neal Stumbo and Charlie Detterback. Second place was Gary Sevey also from Springfield and Jim Hemrick from Wynnewood, Oklahoma. Third place, with a great tournament, went to the youngest team in the tournament Raymond Wadsack and Jordan Geer. Both these shooters are still in High School and live in the Stockton, Mo. area. Congratulations Raymond and Jordan.
