The 9th Annual Columbus Day Shuffleboard Tournament was held on October 2nd and 3rd, 2009 at the Affton Elks Lodge. The ABC event was held on Friday night with 9 teams competing for the plaques and prize money. Third place went to the team of Jimmy Dunn, Pat Marshall, and Julie Ray. Second place went to Chris Tinker, Frank Coleman, and Bill Banks. First place honorswent to Dee Ross, Mark Polson, and Carol 
Weerts.
The Doubles event was held on Saturday with 9 teams participating in this event. Taking Third place was Mark Polson and Chris Tinker. Second place went to Mike Polson and Rhonda Muelhauser. And this year’s champions were Larry and Jerry Romay.Special thanks to Larry and Doug-computer, Kathy-bartender, and to Mark /Julie Polson, Jill Romay, Lisa Romay, Pat Marshall, Rhonda Muehlhauser, and Mike/Angie for bringing food.
