The 4th Annual Super Sam Memorial Shuffleboard Tournament was held July 28-30th, 2011 at the Affton Elk’s Lodge. The year a Singles event was to added for the first time to this tournament making it a 3 Day 3 Event tournament. The first event was an ABC Draw and had 8 teams competing. Second place went to Dee Ross, Mike Polson, and Carol Weerts. And 1st place went to Jim Payne, Jack Murphy, and Ray Dupske.
The next event was the Bring Partner which had 13 teams competing. 4th place went to Jerry and Larry Romay. Third place was Mark Gray and John Boyer. Second place was Dan Kelly and Doug Schmaltz. And taking First place was Steve Taylor and Bob Duer.
The Singles event followed the Bring Partner and had 18 players competing. Taking 5/6th was Mark Polson and Steve Taylor. Fourth place went to Alben McDonald. Third place went to Jimmy Dunn. Second place went to Dan Kelly. And the 1st place champion was Mark Gray.
