Starting on Thursday (Thanksgiving night) they had an a/b draw tournament with 14 teams. Thanks Kay Walker for your snacks.
On Friday after the big Turkey Day, the ladies auxiliary had a dinner catered in by Jamie the cook, bringing meatballs, scalloped potatoes, cream cheese, corn, hot rolls & peach crisp. Larry Manier carried in 2 LARGE crocks of ham & beans, along with some GREAT cornbread. Trying to get everyone’s appetite just right for the bring your partner event. Which had 2 division.Div 2 had 7 teams with div.1 having 14.
On Saturday the Eagles Lodge turned Billy Joe Richards loose on the grill. The big deer season had just ended the week before. Billy Joe fired up the big smoker and throwed some deer, and pork butts on for the big event, the lodge furnished some baked potato’s, to go along with Charlie & Julie ham & beans,actually that everyone helped out on, (thanks Dennis, Linda, & Kathy (Charlie’s daughter) for starting the roaster, adding the ham & —well making sure they were cooking. lol) No one went hungry all day & evening long.
There were 19 players ready to play in this event, the bring partner event started on Friday evening, which ended early on Saturday afternoon.
