The 15th Annual Thanksgiving Holiday Tournament was held at the Eagles Lodge in Houston, Missouri beginning on the 26th-28th. Turning out to be a feast through out the week-end not only our hungry appetites for all the good food, but for shuffleboard as well..With the Thanksgiving day event, came some GREAT turkey sandwiches, brown beans & ham, and all sorts of food, went very well with the a/b draw event with 12 teams.
Division 1 bring partner event had16 teams, with each and everyone of them wanting a piece of the pie.
The day after Thanksgiving are always good leftovers that you can turn into anything, like turkey & beef soup, chicken and dumplins, sandwiches, deserts of all kinds but people didn’t just come for a meal they came to play….In Division 2 there were 8 teams.
On Saturday following the bring partner event came along the singles tournament with a Whole New Meal.
Everyone tired of the turkey leftovers, so started the day out right with some biscuits & gravy, then later on in the day everyone got a New York strip steak cooked to their liking with a potato,& a salad & of course desserts. That alone seemed to hit the right spot, then in for the finale of the singles event were16 players.
